“Welcome to the home of OC Refugees”
We are just five guys who share a passion for music.
This all started with a conversation at work about playing guitar. Bob Jystad and I were sharing our interest in playing music and we decided to get together to play after work. Jerry Nasser, who’s office is next to mine, heard us and then joined the next time we got together. Word spread of these after hour jam sessions and soon Mike Moats mentions he plays bass. Before you know it, Gary Dade speaks up and says he is a drummer (a damn good one by the way) and before you know it we have a band. Soon after, Mordecai Fayas joined the band adding harmonica and vocals.
A few months later, we have our first gig. Where? Jerry’s backyard... Shortly thereafter, we play at the West Area All Hands meeting for Crown Castle in front of 300+ folks at the Monarch Beach Resort (Gulp). We now play venues around Southern California including the House of Blues in Anaheim.
Bob has since move on to pursue his personal musical journey and the band continues to evolve and grow, adding to our repertoire of classic rock songs and sprinkled with an occasional original here and there.
Our goal is to enjoy our passion for music and share it with others who want to listen and have some fun. We hope you enjoy...
